Jonas’ cricketing journey began at a young age. She picked up the sport at six and honed her skills playing in boys’ teams until she was 10. Her talent was evident early on, as she represented both Cornwall Cricket Club and the New Zealand under-22s indoor cricket team.
And at 15, Jonas made a remarkable debut for Auckland Hearts in the 2019-20 Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, a domestic women’s cricket tournament in New Zealand. She made a lasting impression by claiming three wickets in the final.
